Dave Tester    Boise, Idaho                          testerbroadcast@gmail.com

Dave began his broadcasting career while still in high school at radio station KVNI in his hometown of Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. He worked in radio and television while completing his telecommunications degree at the University of Idaho. While still a student there he announced the first high school football championship to be televised in Idaho and was the television voice of the Idaho Vandals football team.  He continued in television and radio sports in Great Falls, Missoula and Boise, Idaho. He traveled the country announcing sporting events for local stations and national networks ESPN,FOX and CNN—there’s scarcely a sport he

hasn’t covered. Over nearly two decades he’s met and become friends with many inspirational local heroes and high-caliber professional athletes. Tester has parlayed those relationships into special events that support many community organizations and charities.

Always the idea man,  Tester created many pioneering franchises and events that increased audience and revenue. In 2001, he dove back into radio full time for Horizon Broadcasting, which owned the Boise Hawks Baseball team and 7 radio stations in the Boise market.

That was followed by a stint with The Citadel Radio Group in Boise. As Director of Sports Marketing,  Tester was responsible for generating a million dollars in revenue per year from 2002-2004

Tester was named Vice President and General Manager of New Northwest Broadcasting   in Billings in August of 2004 and improved revenue 118% until his move to a top 100 market in September of 2005.

Tester was named Vice President and General Manager of Citadel Radio in Spokane Washington where he oversees a staff of 60 in a 22 million dollar radio advertising market.

In January of 2007, Dave became CEO of Tester Broadcast Group located in the Boise Valley.

Dave and his wife Claudia have two children; Carson and Clare.
